The enhancement project for the entrance of Macan Development and Sotheby’s Morocco is born from a deep dialogue between past and present, reinterpreting the identity of the place through a refined architectural language.
At the heart of the composition is the portal, standing as a symbol of welcome and conceptual threshold, inspired by the moucharabieh of Marrakech palaces. More than just a structure, it represents a balance between openness and enclosure, between privacy and connection with the urban landscape. Its delicate patterns filter light and vision, creating a play of shadows and reflections that enhances the sense of mystery and depth.
The use of noble materials such as brass and walnut reinforces the link between tradition and innovation: brass, with its warm luminosity, highlights the value of detail, while walnut, solid and textured, evokes memory and a deep connection to the land. The finely crafted and patinated iron becomes an artistic gesture expressing balance and sophistication.
Walls in bejmat and tadelakt recall Moroccan craftsmanship, transforming into an architectural skin that seamlessly blends the new threshold with the identity of the existing villa, creating a continuous aesthetic and temporal dialogue.
The lighting, meticulously designed, is not only functional but poetic: LEDs enhance the company plaques, giving them an aura of prestige, while the backlit brass number 8 becomes a symbol of infinity and cyclicality, merging luxury and meaning.
The entire intervention is conceived as an architectural reflection on living, exploring the relationship between space, light, and material, where every element harmoniously interacts to create a timeless aesthetic and sensory experience.
