n the vibrant heart of Milan Design Week, where ideas move at lightning speed, And Studio Architects took part in a series of meetings and events dedicated to forging new synergies and collaborations, with eyes set on upcoming projects and the future of contemporary design.
Representing the studio were architect Andrea Mannocci and architect Carolina Barzacchini, an interior designer and a key figure in the studio’s creative process. Their presence was a valuable opportunity to connect with like-minded entities, expand design perspectives, and foster a constructive dialogue with some of the most influential companies in the architecture and design scene.
Among the most significant encounters were those with Dooor and Artemide. With the latter, a previously established collaboration was rekindled, ready now to evolve into new, shared visions. After all, architecture is also made of these luminous alliances: encounters that become ideas, and ideas that become space.
In an atmosphere rich with inspiration and stimuli, even the most unexpected moments can prove revealing. Such was the case with a spontaneous interview given by architect Barzacchini on Radio Deejay, who, with ease and authenticity, captured the spirit that defines our design philosophy: attentive, open, and dialogical.
Participation in Design Week was not only a moment of professional growth for And Studio Architects, but also an opportunity for introspection regarding the studio’s identity and trajectory. An experience that strengthened our vision: designing means building relationships, even before building spaces.
